Greetings!
What a tremendous month for all ISOs. In short, we almost were put out of business by our government who, like many of us know, are not educated about how ISOs provide access to cash for people around the world.
As you'll see below, we owe a huge debt of gratitude to Warren Cato - a NAAIO member - and other representatives from ATM ISOs First Regents and CU24 for traveling to Senator Tom Harkin's office to help him understand the costs associated with providing millions of people with immediate access to cash where previously none existed.
In fact, their visit helped lead to the tabling of this amendment that would have capped ATM fees at $0.50.
Now is the time for you and fellow ISO colleagues and vendors to join NAAIO. We will continue to watch Washington since we think that this legistlation will reappear. SUPPORT US SO WE CAN WATCH WASHINGTON AND LEGISTLATORS FOR YOU!
We are seeing a huge spike in membership because of our recent Washington efforts. Look to the left and you'll see many new names of ISO and related companies who have joined NAAIO.

NAAIO Helps Table Lethal Legistlation
On March 19th, Warren Cato, a founding member of NAAIO and Mike Powell and Jim Park went to Washington D.C. to speak with Senator Tom Harkin's Legal Assistant Zach Schecter Steinberg to discuss the ATM industry's concerns over Senator Harkin's amendment #3812 to sentate bill 3217 which would have limited ATM fees to $0.50 per transaction.
As a result, the legislation was tabled. "Although we won this battle you can bet this legislation will appear again," said Cato. "NAAIO will continue to monitor these types of amendments and provide as much education as necessary to make sure legislators know the costs ISOs incur to provide immediate and secure access to cash for millions of Americans daily."
